It’s that time of year again! The 92nd Academy Awards are streaming live on Feb. 9 on ABC, and we have a wonderful list of nominations. Staff Writer Holden Logan shares his Oscar opinions.
This year, there are a total of 53 films that received 124 nominations, and, once again, the Oscars will be without a named host.
Presenting the major categories will be the winners of last year’s best actor, actress, supporting actor, and supporting actress.
There will also be performances of the five nominated original songs throughout the broadcast, from films like “Toy Story 4,” “Frozen II,” “Harriet,” “Rocketman,” and “Breakthrough.”
I’ll be looking at each category and naming who I think is the most deserving winner of the Oscar.
I haven’t seen every single Oscar-nominated film, but I’ve done enough research on the ones I haven’t seen and made my predictions based on my findings.

These are my opinions on which I believe to be the most deserving winners, but that doesn’t mean all of these are going to be completely right on Oscar night. Be sure to watch the Oscars on Feb. 9 at 7 p.m.
