When it comes to cheesecake, there can never be too many flavors and Bryan’s Cheesecakes embodies that very mantra with a menu that features over 30 different flavors! According to their website, they were voted the best in East Texas from County Line magazine.
Bryan’s Cheesecakes features cheesecakes, sandwiches, wraps and even an espresso station. Just off South Beckham Ave near the hospitals, this little cheesecake eatery sits next to Southside Bank.
The location in Tyler opened in early August, but is based out of Mineola off N. Johnson St. All of the weekly shipments come from their home store in Mineola, and some flavors may not always be available, but can be fulfilled upon request.
“Bryan’s Cheesecakes is a high-end cheesecake that has outstanding ingredients, tremendous texture and those two combinations make it one of the best cheesecakes you’ll ever try,” says Bryan Mendez in a video, found on the homepage of their website.
Some flavors of Bryan’s Cheesecakes include: peanut butter fudge, peppermint bark, banana pudding, turtle, s’mores, Oreo cookie explosion, red velvet, blackberry pecan, classic vanilla, Italian cream, blueberry white chocolate, salted caramel apple pie, lemon and even sugar free Keto choices of classic or chocolate.
According to their website, Mendez says his personal favorite is the lemon curd.
One slice of cheesecake costs $6 or $8, depending on the type, while an entire cheesecake costs $50 or $60. If you want to try the different types before ordering whole slices, there are Cheesecake Mini’s available at three for $6 or twenty for $35. Also offered are Assortment Cakes that feature four flavors in one cheesecake at $58, with three slices of each flavor of your choosing.
Bryan’s Cheesecakes gives back to their customers with a rewards punch card. If you buy six slices of cheesecake, the seventh one is free and then you are entered into a drawing to win an entire cheesecake of your choice.
How do I know that? Okay, so…. yes, I ordered five slices (with somebody, I swear!) and the two nice girls working convinced us to get one more, to get a free seventh slice. We got seven slices and all different flavors, cause...why not? Those flavors were: banana pudding, peanut butter fudge, peanut butter mousse, blueberry white chocolate, german chocolate, carrot cake and cuckoo for coconut.
My personal favorite? Banana pudding and my friend liked the cuckoo for coconut. Honestly though, they were all so delicious and did not last long, like we thought they would.
