Student Government Association officials released election results conducted Wednesday and Thursday.
Mikal Huff received four votes to become the new SGA secretary. Student voters elected 13 senators during two days of voting in the University Center and Hudnall-Pirtle-Roosth building. Two other races resulted in tie votes. Parliamentarian Rene Hernandez said the SGA is planning a run-off election for positions in The College of Arts and Sciences and University Pines.
College of Arts and Sciences
Brakeyshia Samms received 22 votes while Shelby Morgan received for 13 votes.
College of Business and Technology
Robert Collier won a seat in the SGA with six votes.
College of Education and Psychology
Christina Gibson and Courtney Kellum received four votes.
College of Engineering and Computer Science
Randy Owens joins senators Dana Bell and Kortlan Porter after receiving eight votes.
Patriot Village
David Kelley received 11 votes.
University Pines
Tsipora Smith received three votes for placement in SGA.
College of Nursing and Health Science
Charles Donnahue received 24 votes, while Amber Baron and Aletha Savage received eight votes each.
Freshman Senators
The freshman senators are Ashton Wright with eight votes and Ayodele Odybela with four votes each.
