Blackboard voting and an unprecedented three presidential candidates highlight the upcoming Student Government Association election Wednesday and Thursday.
Voting tables can be found in the University Center and the Herrington Patriot Center. Students also may log on to their Blackboard account to vote for the first time as well.
Students are allowed to run for two positions under SGA bylaw, however, only one position can be accepted.
Sara Khalifa, Jamie Newburn and E. Ashton Wright are in the running for senator positions. Khalifa and Newburn are also running for president. Wright is competing for the SGA secretary position.

Elections are held for officers annually. Senatorial elections are also held in the fall for freshmen senators and to fill vacant seats.
Students can also petition the SGA to fill vacant seatsĀ during the year.
