The University’s office of student life and leadership hosted a Service Awards ceremony on April 22.
Awards in 16 categories were given out to more than 50 students being recognized for their contributions during their time at the University.
Seven faculty members were nominated for the Outstanding Student Adviser of the Year Award, the only category available for faculty nominations.
Ona Tolliver, director of student and life and leadership, made opening remarks for the ceremony.
Awards ranged from recognition within Greek Life on campus to intramural sports champions.
Dr. Howard Patterson, vice president for student affairs, made closing remarks.
