Groups submit HC noms

Student Life and Leadership officials released the nominations for homecoming king and queen of the University on Thursday. Seven University student organizations submitted nominations. Requirements for nominees included a minimum 2.0 grade point average, a junior or a senior and an active member of their student organization.

The king and queen is scheduled  to be announced prior to the men’s game against LeTourneau University. Voting is scheduled from 11-1 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at the University Center patio. The following are the nominees and the representative organizations:

The king nominees are:
Jay Vasquez - Campus Activities Board
Jeremy McLeod - American Society of Civil Engineering
Kristopher Boyd - UT Tyler Cheerleaders
Martin McKown - Pi Kappa Phi
Kortlan Porter - Student Government Association
Oliver Timberlake - Black Student Association
Ifeotuwa Adetoro - Patriots Football Club.

The queen nominees are:
Chelsea Lyttaker - Campus Activities Board
Brittany Meloni - American Society of Civil Engineering
Robin Baker - Gamma Phi Beta
Kassie Castle - Alpha Chi Omega
Megan Padgett - Tri Beta
Sara Khalifa - Student Government Association
Amanda Bell - Black Student Association.
