Students completing their first bachelor’s degree may be eligible to receive up to a $1,000 tuition rebate. The Texas Legislature approved the tuition rebate plan in 1997.
Students who meet the requirements may be eligible to receive the $1,000 tuition rebate if they paid more than $1,000 in tuition.
Students who meet the requirements but did not pay more than $1,000 in tuition may receive a rebate equal to the amount of tuition paid.
Students must fill out a tuition rebate request form at the Registrar’s Office, ADM 221.
Registrar LaTonya McCoy said the tuition rebates will not be processed until all degrees are posted and are expected to take six to eight weeks.
