Faculty nominations

The University’s Faculty Awards Committee is currently accepting nominations for faculty recognition awards.
The awards include The White Fellowship Award and the Chancellor’s Council Outstanding Teacher Award with the winners receiving $2,500 and $3,000, respectively.
University faculty and students may send in nominations.
Nominations for either award must include the name of the nominee, the award for which they are being nominated, the reason for the nomination, information about the nominee that supports the nomination, and the nominator’s name and title or the relationship to the nominee.

Anonymous nominations are not accepted.
The White Fellowship Award recognizes excellence in teaching and nominees must be full-time faculty members, but not required to be tenured.
The Chancellor’s Council Outstanding Teaching Award recognizes excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level and innovative teaching methods. Nominees must be full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members.
Nominations may be made by e-mail and are being accepted until March 1.
