Editor’s Note: Previous statements made by Whitehouse to the Patriot Talon contradict her pledge to represent the views of students. In the April 20 edition of the Talon she is quoted as saying:

How do you see yourself as a liaison between the student body and the student government?

“I believe I have developed trust within the administration, even with some I have been told I have an open door policy with them now. A liaison isn’t just someone who talks with the administration cause I believe any student is welcome to do so at our University, but someone the students can go to that the administration already trusts so that their voice is heard clearly to the administration and not through a haze of unfamiliarity and mistrust.”

How do you plan to represent the student body?

With the best of my abilities, I will need the students help, without their input on what changes they want to see at this University, I cannot represent them.” -Amy Whitehouse
