Cooper named assistan director of financial aid and scholarships

Rosemary Cooper, assistant director of financial aid and scholarships at the University, has been named the director of enrollment services, Charlie Hutchins, assistant vice president for enrollment management, marketing and customer service, announced.

Cooper plans oversee the UT Tyler Enrollment Services Center, which provides students a centralized location to handle admissions, financial aid and registrar needs.

Cooper, a UT Tyler double alumna, has served the university since 1999 as a senior secretary, financial aid officer and scholarship coordinator, before serving as an assistant director in the enrollment management office.

She holds a bachelor of science in general studies and a master of public administration, both from the University.

Professional memberships include National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and Western Association of Veterans Education Specialists.
