What brings you to the University?

I got a scholarship, and also the campus is very beautiful here. Also, there are hills around here, which is unfamiliar to me since I’m from the coast.
What is your favorite pastime?
Skateboarding! I’ve been skating since I was about 11 years old.
Who was the person who most influenced you and how?
My father. He supports everything I do. He built my brother and I skateboard ramps when we were younger and also got a boat for the family that we could go wakeboarding behind.
What is your best attribute?
I’m pretty good at a lot of things, there really isn’t too much that I haven’t tried to master already.
What/who influenced you to choose your major?
My father. He always wanted one of his three sons to be an engineer. I’m the final one, so I figured I would.
What class outside of your major would you like to take and why?
As soon as I create a long-boarding class, I will be enrolled in it. Just kidding. Do we offer bowling or any sports classes?
What kind of student are you?
I’d say I’m a pretty good student. I go to class, take notes, make pretty good grades.
Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
I plan on being a civil engineer in a great engineering firm. Hopefully I will have moved up a few positions in the firm by then. Maybe a side career of professional long boarding, you never know.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Not all the much bothers me, except for rain, which isn’t really a pet peeve, but it makes my day a little less enjoyable because I can’t skate to class or around campus.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan on finding some awesome place to live, maybe Lake Travis. I want to live on a lake for sure. I also want to rack in some money and just do whatever I want with it. Possibly skate across the United States, California to DC.
What is one thing no one would ever guess about you?
My glasses are fake. I have perfect eyesight.
