The stress of final exams often leaves students looking for relief.
That’s why the Campus Activities Board is conducting Novelty Relaxation and Finals Frenzy Bingo.
Novelty Relaxation is from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. May 4 in the Sports Café.
Neon Entertainment is providing four massage chairs, four spinal massagers, two foot massagers and an oxygen bar to help University students and faculty relax.
At the oxygen bar, up to four students at a time can breathe in aromatherapy scented pure oxygen through individual nasal cannulas.
“It helps you remember all the things you’ve studied,” CAB adviser Jennifer Skinner said. “We did it last year and it was a big hit. Students can make a stop at each massage station and at the oxygen bar.”
“We’re hoping for roughly 15 people every five minutes, and that we can put through 700 people,” Skinner said.
Finals Frenzy Bingo is from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. May 4 in the Met cafeteria and May 5 in the Sports Café.
Up to 20 winners receive a Finals Survival Kit, filled with junk food, energy drinks, scantrons and pencils.
“Students get so bogged down with finals,” Skinner said. “This gives them a break and allows them to relax a little in a time that’s really high stress.”
