With the release of his ninth studio album, “Tha Carter IV,” Lil Wayne is back in action laying down rhymes for us decipher and beats to blow our minds.

The album boasts 19 songs and plays out at just over and hour and fifteen minutes.

“The Carter IV” was number three on the Billboard Top 200 chart as of Sept. 26.

This album seems to be a return to the rap artist’s roots, as his previous two releases — “Rebirth” and “I am not a Human Being” — were heavily influenced with a rock theme.

Rise Against has returned to the alternative scene with their sixth studio album, “Endgame.” This album is a follow up to their commercially successful album, “Appeal to Reason,” which peaked at number three on the Billboard Top 200. “Endgame” debuted on the chart at number two and sold 85,000 copies it’s first week.

The album features 12 tracks that invite us to rethink the way we view everything from homophobia to the treatment of mankind in general.

“Endgame” is an evolution of the band’s musical diversity.
