The University’s annual homecoming weekend takes place this week is themed “Just Kickin’ It: Homecoming 2008.”

Homecoming 2008 occurs just as autumn works its way into east Texas and offers students and alumni the chance to participate in indoor and outdoor events during the week.

Also, inflatables, balloon artists, face painters, music, and a chili cook-off are scheduled to take place in the same area.

“This year we’re offering students food and money as prizes for some of the competitions,” said Carey O’Kelly. “Shirts, posters, as well as lots of other prizes will be given away during homecoming.”
