WALL-E
G, 97 minutes

After Ratatouille, who would have thought that Pixar Animation Studios could come up with a fresh idea never before seen on the big screen?

Amazingly, the makers of WALL-E have proven that they can create a new work of art with every production.

WALL-E tells the story of the last robot left on earth that has been stuck with the same job for the last 700 years: clean the wasteland that is our planet. WALL-E eventually meets the “beautiful” robot EVE and the true story begins.

Pixar paints a vivid picture of humanity’s future with stunning graphics and vibrant color, ranging from the dull surface of Earth to the colorful effects of space. WALL-E has become a proud addition to the Pixar collection, intertwining the love story of two very different robots with a modern environmentalist message about how humanity treats its planet and itself.

Slapstick humor creates many comical characters such as a tiny, cleaning-obsessed robot named “Moe” and a dutiful yet bumbling captain voiced by Jeff Garlin.

Three-time Academy Award nominee Sigourney Weaver provides the majority of the dialogue for the movie, leaving famed sound artist Ben Burtt with the monumental task of creating personalities for EVE, WALL-E and many other robots with just three words and an incredible collection of sound.

Burtt, known for his work in creating the characters of ET and R2-D2, enhances the unbelievable work of the artists at Pixar, leaving the audience wondering what they could possibly come up with next.
The average critic rating for WALL-E is 4.8 out of 5, easily reflecting the success of the newest Pixar masterpiece and making this movie a must-see.
